ENTROPY is a 30 foot convertible sportfisher manufactured by Phoenix Yachts in 1980. Her twin Volvo diesel engines produce 400HP each pushing her cruising speed to 20 knots. She runs dry but can pound a little in seas larger than 3 feet. She boasts over 100 square feet of cockpit which is enough room to fish up to 4 people comfortably. Her cabin is medium size (able to sleep 6) and has a cabin heater run off the engines for warmth during those cold striper trips in fall and winter. A table for 4, a small fridge and enclosed head will help make your trip comfortable. Entropy is outfitted with outriggers and downriggers, allowing the bait to reach all parts of the water column. These allow us to use lighter tackle for in-shore and near-shore fisheries. You won't be fighting the weights, just the fish! Whether trolling for Stripers, drifting for flounder or live-bait fishing for cobia in the summer, Entropy is rigged for your fishing satisfaction.
ENTROPY is berthed at Bay Point Marina, in Norfolk. A short 90 minute drive from Richmond, the bay fishing grounds are a short boat ride. For off shore trips we leave the dock early morning. ENTROPY is licensed through the Virginia Marine Resources Commission as a Charter Boat. |
