Directions: From Richmond, head east on Hwy 64 towards Norfolk. Traffic moves fairly quickly, and cops don’t seem to pick anyone up going 10 to 15 mph over the limit. After about 25 miles, take Hwy 33 (Exit 220) towards West Point. The speed limit here is 55 and there is occasionally a cop that I see (although going 65 doesn’t seem to interest him to stop me). After about 8 miles you will cross a set of brand new bridges over the two rivers that become the York River. Off to your left is a paper mill. Continue through town and on for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Hwy 14, go for about 6 miles. The road will intersect Hwy 17 (also known as the George Washington Highway). Turn right (south) on Hwy 17 and go about 19 miles. There will be several stoplights along the way. The speed limit fluctuates between 45 and 55 MPH – there is always a cop patrolling this section. As you approach the 19th mile there will be a Hardees on the right, you will want to turn left onto Guinea Road. Go 3.6 miles (just past the Achilles Elementary School) and turn right on Maryus Road (AKA State Route 649). There is a Crown Point Marina sign just before this intersection. Go 0.8 miles and turn right on Perrin Creek Road, again there is a sign before the turn. After less than half mile take the left turn onto Cooks Landing Road. You will round the bend in the road and the marina will be on your right. Veer right into the parking lots on either side of the Marina store. Entropy is in the dock directly in front of the marina store (K dock slip 3).
