A Marlin or a Sailfish on a Fly rod? It sounds crazy but its true. This isn’t like trout stream fishing. You tease the fish up into the prop wash with a fly (no hook) on conventional tackle, then throw out the real fly using a 14 weight rod. The excitement of watching a Sail hit the fly just feet away from you is INCREDIBLE! Don’t think that fishing in Costa Rica is only for the guys. This technique is perfect for teenagers and mom also.
